Internship at Egmont

Would you like to learn more about life in a large media group and get a glimpse of what it is like to work at Nordisk Film, our publishing house and our magasines? As an intern at Egmont, you will have a week full of experiences and challenges.

Every year, during weeks 6 and 39, Egmont offers ten 8th and 9th grade students the opportunity to participate in an exciting and versatile internship. The internship week takes place partly at Egmont's headquarter in the heart of Copenhagen and partly at Story House Egmont in Østerbro and at Nordisk Film in Valby.

As an intern, over five days you will have the chance to visit and gain insight into several of Egmont's business areas. Along with other interns, you can learn to write Donald Duck stories, produce and brainstorm articles for well-known magasines like ALT for damerne, Euroman or Eurowoman, explore how work is done behind the scenes at Nordisk Film, experience a day in a cinema theater, and much more.

How to apply:

To be considered for an internship at Egmont, you need to write an application explaining why you have chosen Egmont and why you are the one we should offer an internship. The format of your application is entirely up to you.

We value that you are interested in the media industry, ready to try new things, and have a good command of written Danish to participate in article writing and other written tasks during the internship.

You can send an application or ask questions to
Carina Camilla Bøgelund via mail: ccb@egmont.com

Please note that you can only do an internship once at Egmont, as we have many applicants.

It is important that:

  • You have permission from both your parents and your school.

  • Your guidance counselor fills out and sends us your internship form at least one week before you start your first day. If the deadline is exceeded, you lose your spot.

  • It's important that you can arrange transportation to and from Egmont and potential accommodation during the internship, if necessary.

Egmont may be forced to change or cancel agreed internship periods if extraordinary situations make it necessary.
