Feminism on the front page

Our monthly magazine Eurowoman inspires women who love fashion and culture, while also presenting readers with important trends. That's why the magazine also focuses on feminism.

Strong stories

"It is not just about justice and equality, but also about creating a more inclusive and sustainable future where the potential of all people can be unfolded."

This is how editor-in-chief Anne Lose states it in Story House Egmont's monthly magazine Eurowoman. It is important for the magazine to focus on feminism because it is a central part of understanding and challenging the structural norms that affect our everyday lives and society.

Therefore, in September 2024, Eurowoman appointed gender sociologist and author Cecilie Nørgaard to be the guest editor of the magazine, to explore what it means to live a feminist life and how it can change our way of thinking, acting, and interacting with the world around us. Experts and activists explain what it means to live feminist and touch on everything from raising children and working feminist to why there is a lack of research on women's diseases. All of this with a common thread that makes feminism tangible for the readers.

As an influential fashion magazine, Eurowoman often puts socially relevant topics on the agenda. And just two years ago, author and speaker Emma Holten was the guest editor, with a focus on feminist economics.

"Focusing on feminism in Eurowoman is a way to give our readers the opportunity to reflect on their own lives and the systems they are a part of, which can lead to personal growth and societal change," says Anne Lose.
