INTERNATIONAL SUCCES

THE GIRL WITH THE NEEDLE had its world premiere at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, where it was selected for the main competition and received a phenomenal reception from critics. The international success continued when the film was selected for the Toronto International Film Festival in September.

THE GIRL WITH THE NEEDLE received two awards at Europe's answer to the Oscars - the prestigious European Film Awards: Excellence Awards for Best Film Score, composed by Danish musician Frederikke Hoffmeier, and Best Cinematography by Jagna Dobesz. Magnus von Horn and Line Langebek were also nominated for Best Screenplay and both Vic Carmen Sonne and Trine Dyrholm for Best Actress.
