Improved results for Story House Egmont in Denmark

Story House Egmont A/S, which covers Story House Egmont's Danish magazine and newspaper business, had a revenue of DKK 332.5 million and an operating profit of DKK 15.5 million in 2023, the highest in five years.

"We are back to normal after the extraordinary pandemic years. We have been good at continuously adapting our business, and we publish a number of magazines that are strong with consumers, and we continue to have solid ad sales. So even though we, like all other magazine publishers, were also affected by inflation, rising costs and the general decline of print media, we are overall satisfied with our performance in Denmark in 2023," says Per Kjellander, Managing Director of Story House Egmont A/S and CEO of Story House Media.

In Denmark, Story House Egmont publishes the magazines ALT for damerne, Euroman, Eurowoman, Gastro, Hjemmet, Her og Nu and Hendes Verden. The media company is also behind a number of children's magazines such as the Donald Duck Magazine and Disney Princesses.
